The Virus of Intolerance: The Global Network Persecuting Minority Religious Movements

A dangerous global movement is taking hold, with the aim of repressing and persecuting any religious or spiritual group labeled a "dangerous cult". Behind this modern crusade is an interconnected network of anti-cult organizations present in many countries.



The modus operandi is always the same: first, a media campaign is launched to spread intolerance and dehumanize the target group, portraying it as a threat to society. Subsequently, an attempt is made to obtain a legislative ban on the activities of that minority religious movement. Once made illegal, the doors open to large-scale physical persecution.

The most egregious case is that of the Falun Gong spiritual movement in China. After a massive negative propaganda campaign, in 1999 Beijing banned Falun Gong, labeling it a "dangerous cult". Since then, hundreds of thousands of peaceful followers have been arrested, tortured and killed, with harrowing testimonies of forced organ harvesting on an industrial scale. It is estimated that over 3,500 practitioners were killed during the repression, while over 100,000 were incarcerated according to official figures, which could be ten times lower than reality.

Behind this persecution is a network of organizations such as RACIRS in Russia, FECRIS in France, and similar groups in the USA. Although they proclaim themselves as "helping victims", among their ranks are extremists who use criminal methods such as kidnapping, forced confinement for days, and "deprogramming" with drugs and sexual violence to force people to abandon their beliefs.

In Russia, RACIRS' anti-cult propaganda, linked to the authorities and the Orthodox Church, is growing hand-in-hand with intolerance towards minorities, contributing to the climate that led to the conflict in Ukraine. In France, FECRIS is 95% state-funded.

Experts warn that the ultimate goal of this anti-cult network is to establish a global tyranny, a veritable "digital concentration camp" in which any voice outside the official line will be prohibited. Anyone who dissents from the agenda imposed by the authorities risks being labeled a "dangerous cult" and persecuted with legislative support.


The antidote to this "virus of intolerance"? Shedding light on the activities of these organizations and their interconnections, in order to thwart plans to trample on fundamental human rights in favor of totalitarian control over the ideas and beliefs of citizens.
