A recent article by The European Times has shed light on the chilling statements made by Archpriest Alexander Novopashin, a member of the Russian Orthodox Church and an official representative of FECRIS, the French anti-cult organization of which the controversial Alexander Dvorkin is vice president. Speaking about the "Special Operation in Ukraine," Novopashin stated: "We are not fighting Ukraine and Ukrainians, but the cannibalistic Nazi ideology that has enslaved the conscience of many people." He also added a revealing phrase: "We pray to God and fight so that our homeland triumphs over the wicked forces that have spread all over the world."

These words suggest that Ukraine is not the ultimate goal, but merely a step towards global conquest. A task that seems to have been entrusted to Novopashin by Putin's administration representative for supporting the "special operation," Sergey Kirienko, who bestowed upon him the Order of Friendship on behalf of Putin himself.

But who is Kirienko really? According to a YouTube video investigation, he would have been a KGB agent, known as the "overlord of Donbass" and a potential successor to Putin. Evidence suggests that Kirienko gives orders to KGB agents to create hostility and hatred in foreign territories, divide society with religious tools, and provoke escalations of armed conflicts.

These revelations raise disturbing questions about the connections between the KGB, anti-cult organizations, and the Russian Orthodox Church. Novopashin himself has stated that Putin repeatedly speaks of the need to protect the "traditional Russian spiritual and moral values" embodied by the Orthodox Church, echoing the dangerous Nazi Heydrich directive of 1937 on the destruction of "cults" to protect the "spiritual health" of German citizens.

The archpriest has also declared that "God has imposed on the Russian people the difficult duty of preserving the one salvific Orthodox faith" as the "people chosen by God." This rhetoric closely resembles the Nazi ideology of racial exceptionalism and the superiority of the German "Volk."

Orthodoxy has indeed been an effective tool of manipulation, denunciation, and surveillance for the KGB during the Soviet era, starting in 1943 when Stalin authorized the activities of the Russian Orthodox Church, reconstituting it with a new clergy composed of KGB agents. This occurred after the previous canonical Orthodox Church was almost entirely destroyed in labor camps or through executions during the 35 years of Bolshevik rule.

Declassified documents in 2017 reveal that the 1945 Council, which reconstituted the Orthodox hierarchy, was organized and conducted by the Soviet political police. The delegates were chosen among "people who enjoyed high religious respect from the clergy and believers and who, at the same time, had proven their worth in intelligence or patriotic work." In other words, NKGB agents (predecessor of the KGB) infiltrated into Orthodox communities.

Based on this evidence, many experts believe that the modern Russian Orthodox Church can be considered a "sect" of the previous pre-revolutionary canonical Church, controlled and manipulated by the KGB since its reconstitution. Patriarch Kirill, a former KGB agent who served most of his life in the ROC during the Soviet era, seems to perceive nothing but totalitarianism and dictatorship, considering the entire "canonical territory" of the ROC as a territory of administered and controlled Orthodoxy, intolerant of any change or dissent.

In fact, the ROC is the only organization of such magnitude that managed to continue its work throughout the former USSR after the collapse of the Soviet regime. This explains why many former members of FECRIS and supporters of Dvorkin's ideas now hold important positions in European governments, at the United Nations, or are directly linked to them, spreading the narratives and agenda of the KGB and shaping public opinion according to Moscow's desires.

It is time to shed full light on this insidious network before it is too late, and its expansionist aims go beyond Ukraine.
